In the Beginning…
It was during COVID. While trapped indoors we decided it was time to clean out the truck. A rifle was sitting between the seats amid the trash and tools that are always finding their way into the truck, and the thought came, “There has to be a better way.”
Owning a fabrication shop we realized that we had pretty much everything we needed to find that better way, so we started messing around and eventually came up with the Road Hunter series of weapon mounts.
Designed like nothing else out there, the Road Hunter is built to work with any vehicle that has a removable headrest.
We’re All About Quality
We are hunters and so we understand how easy it is to damage an expensive weapon or scope when you are rummaging around through all the gear and equipment you use to enjoy a great outdoors adventure.
When we designed the Road Hunter Weapon Mount line we set out to build a rugged solution that can perform in the toughest environments and keep your weapons and tools safe, secure, and easily accessible.
We used Powder Coated Aircraft Aluminum to make the product light but strong enough to handle some banging around.
We used top-of-the-line mounts with heavy duty retaining straps that can secure medium weight rifles, shotguns, bows, tripod with spotting scope, or tools.
And we added rubber grommets to reduce the noise when traveling over unpaved roads.
If One is Good, Two Must Be Better
As we were completing the development of the Road Hunter we realized that it would be nuts to not build a dual clamp option. Most of us use multiple weapons or want to bring a scope on a tripod with our weapon.
So the Road Hunter II was conceived. With two of the durable heavy-duty mounts, this solution offers exceptional flexibility and makes it easy to store weapons for your entire group inside the vehicle.
